Sarah is an Emmy Nominated Assistant Costume Designer and Costume Designer for Film and TV

She has worked as Assistant Costume Designer on high-end TV series such as Bridgerton, Becoming Elizabeth, Cursed, The Northwater and feature films such as Magic Mike's Last Dance and Cinderella, assisting designers such as Bartholomew Carris, Emma Rees, Marianne Agertoft, Ellen Mirojnick, Sarah Blenkinsop, Sophie Canale and Christopher Peterson

She was recently nominated for an Emmy for her work as Assistant Costume Designer on Bridgerton, Season 2

As well as assisting, Sarah has designed the costumes for a number of short films and commercials

Costume design has been her life-long passion. She started her career by scribbling designs in the back of the car on rainy camping holidays as a child, going on to study for degree in costume at Edinburgh College of Art, and then for an MA in Theatre Design at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School


Starting out as a costume maker, she spent the next eight years in theatre working as as both a Set and Costume Designer, Associate / Assistant Designer and Costume Supervisor at venues such as Shakespeare's Globe, The RSC, The National Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre, The Royal Lyceum in Edinburgh, Oxford Playhouse, Salisbury Playhouse, Royal and Derngate, and The English Theatre, Vienna; with award winning companies such as Kneehigh and Art Angel; and with designers such as Michael Vale, Sara Perks, Jamie Vartan, Anthony Lamble and Jenny Beavan,  before making the transition over to Film / TV
